i think that about sums up one of the biggest mistakes that our police made. why the F did they cause all that drama and arrested the BROTHER of the hostage taker. LIVE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION. sure enough, a few minutes after which, the shooting started. why did they wait that long, hoping for the hostage taker to change his mind and end the hostage taking peacefully, and then do something to provoke the guy? strategy people, strategy. p'9u4tver;sjta94tvpareojtvaporjv...
and the SWAT team, oh, dear SWAT team, aren't you supposed to be bad ass? aren't you supposed to be trained for this? you hear a shot and you go clambering back out, that was fast reflex, i hope you'd use that with going in and doing something rather than hiding and letting the carnage go on. if you're really good at what you do, the guy wouldn't even have a chance to fire that first shot. it is your job to protect the people.
