where dreams come true.

so, i've recently done something that might just start something better for all of us.

as most locals know, Disney is opening a Disney Resort and Spa this coming August here in the island of Oahu. it never occurred to me till now that, hey, that's a pretty cool place to work at, right? not until i met someone who mentioned in passing that she's trying to get in there to work.

something in me stirred, and right that very night i checked for openings.

funny how my brain works though. there's two jobs that I'm eying on, and both can't be any more different, but yet so me. it took me days to think about it, which is perfect since i can't seem to find my updated resume so i had to redo it all.

but today, i finally finished my resume and i thought, this is it, i have to take it before the chance passes me by.

so like the extremes that i am, i applied for both a finance position (mostly planning) and photographer.

i did mention that they are from the opposite sides of the spectrum right? and that for some sick reason, its so me. the employer is just a bonus, cause who wouldn't want to work for disney, i mean, come on. not that i think i'm gonna have the job, i don't want to be too over confident. but that still doesn't stop me from thinking that if i do get in, i'll have discounts to disney some, if not all, disney resorts. LOL!

and also, i think its about time i try the playing field again, start fresh, work my way up again. there's nothing more challenging than starting from the bottom.

i really hope i get one. a part of me slightly slanting on the photog gig since that's what i want to do in the long run. and its just fun to take pictures of people (particularly kids) who are having their dreams come true right in front of your lens. LOL. i just took that other one because its something i know i can do too, and it needs a bachelor degree, which i have, and which can also mean bigger pay. LOL. (i mean come on, if were going to the mainland next year we really need to save save save)

so please, disney, can you make my dream come true too? either one will do, teeengs :)
